Are these cosmetics suitable for purchase before winter comes?

In this blog, I will share some of the high-end cosmetics I bought in the past six months and talk about whether it is worth buying these products in the winter discount season.



Gucci Rouge à Lèvres Satin Lipstick $55：

First of all, the packaging of the product is exquisite, and the color matching is very eye-catching. In the product introduction, some colors can be used as blush. I think it is a very suitable lipstick for winter in terms of moisture level. And it is also suitable for use as a blush on the face. However, due to COVID-19, people basically wear masks and use lipstick when they go out. Therefore, whether to buy this product needs to be decided according to personal preferences and needs.

Beautyblender ORIGINAL BEAUTYBLENDER Makeup Sponge $26:

The market price of this auxiliary tool for applying liquid foundation is $26, which is quite expensive compared to other sponges. After using it for a while, I think it is not worth it. First of all, although the product description says that they use an exclusive technique to keep the foundation on the sponge as little as possible. However, I did not have a great feeling in the process of using, and secondly, the foundation itself is difficult to be completely used up before the expiration date. So you don't really need to consider whether the liquid foundation is too absorbed by the sponge. And compared with drugstore sponges(around $5), I personally feel that the effect of applying makeup is not very different.



Armani Beauty Power Fabric Foundation $78：

This product is very unsuitable for people with dry skin to buy in winter and may feel dry even in summer. But if you are a person with oily skin, then you can consider buying this product. As a medium coverage liquid foundation, it achieves the effect in the product introduction. The concealing ability is not only very strong but also very lightweight on the face. You won't find this foundation too thick. It's a matte foundation, so people who like radiant finish may not be interested. But if you've always been a fan of matte foundation and want to buy a new one in the near future, this foundation might be a good choice.


Shu Uemura Hard Formula Eyebrow Pencil $30:

Although this eyebrow pencil is twice the price of many eyebrow pencils in drug stores, I still think this eyebrow pencil is suitable for purchase during the discount period. First of all, this eyebrow pencil is very durable. I used it every day for almost two years before I used it up. However, many other eyebrow pencils may be used up in about half a year. So this eyebrow pencil has high-cost performance ratio. There are many colors to choose from, and the eyebrow pencil is smudge- proof.


Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara $33:

First of all, I think many of the mascaras in the drug store are very useful and can achieve the same effect as high end mascara. Many of the prices are only one-half or even one-third of their prices. With this mascara, not only will my eyelashes clump when I use it, but it will also make my makeup fade after a while. So I do not recommend buying this.
